Diabetes Resource Guide
The Healthy Chatham Diabetes Task Force has compiled a resource guide for people with diabetes. The resource guide gives information on diabetes management topics such as healthy diets, physical activity, and medical visits. The guide also includes local resources for support groups and diabetes management.

Obesity Prevention Report and Recommendations
At the May 17th Board of Commissioners' work session, the Chatham County Public Health Department presented a report and recommendations on how to address the obesity problem in Chatham County. The report is a result of a series of meetings held in 2009 with obesity prevention stakeholders.

Annual Health Report Card
Healthy Chatham completes an annual Health of Chatham Report Card. These reports detail the health priorities and status of health issues in the county.
Community Health Assessment
Every four years, a Community Health Assessment is done in cooperation with the residents of Chatham County. This document describes quality of life data, health statistics, and health priority areas for the county to focus on during the next four years. Walk Pittsboro Map
Active Chatham and the Chatham County Public Health Department have created a map of walking routes near downtown Pittsboro. The five routes from .6 to 1.6 mile in length highlight Town Lake Park, Rosemary House, business district, and historical markers. Brochures are available at various locations in Pittsboro including the Chatham County Public Health Department, Chatham YMCA, Pittsboro Library, Rosemary House, Pittsboro Town Hall, and many other locations.
